Christa Nannos grew up outside Philadelphia in Villanova, PA. She started acting and singing opera at a young age, performing in plays at The Shipley School and as a soloist with the Bryn Mawr Presbyterian Church choir. Christa went on to get her BA in Theatre at Denison University with a minor opera. Christa also studied a year abroad at The Gaiety School of Acting in Dublin, Ireland, and at IES London Theatre Studies in London, England.

Christa moved straight to Los Angeles after graduating college and shot the short film "Beauty and the Auction" and an episode of "Parental Discretion" on NickMom. She then found her niche in the improv/sketch comedy world. Christa graduated from iO West and Second City and performed regularly on both stages. Most notably, Christa portrayed Ivanka Trump in Second City's "In Trump We Trust" and got a rave review in the L.A. Times! She was also on the Second City house sketch team Ruckus where she wrote and performed monthly sketch shows. Christa's all female sketch team, Walk of Shame, has been featured on and Funny or Die.

Christa figured out a long time ago that creating your own content is imperative in this biz, so she created a one woman show called "Parody Queen" and was a headliner at the Funny Women Festival. Most recently, Christa created the popular musical comedy web series "Super Single" on YouTube. She wrote, produced, and stars in the show and is in pre-production for Season 2. Finding complete joy in writing, Christa has now written 4 feature film screenplays and 2 comedy pilots that are being pitched around Hollywood with her Literary Manager, Peter Giagni.

2020 was a challenging year for everyone, but especially for Christa. She was diagnosed with chronic Lyme Disease, underwent 6 weeks of IV treatments and hyperthermia, and spent the year healing. Being the creator she is, Christa filmed her treatments and is creating a documentary called "Chronically Christa: When Lyme Gives You Lyme", as well as writing a book about her journey! Stay tuned!

“The Second City Hollywood's show, "In Trump We Trust" — a musical — portrays Donald's career as the accidental outcome of goofy political machinations. Christa Nannos as Ivanka is poised and radiant.
